What is required?

  • Minimum HBO level of education
  • At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a video editor or videographer.
  • Experience working with individuals or companies with a large audience reach
  • Experience in developing concepts and scripts/storyboards, preferably for social/online content
  • Knowledge of Premiere and After Effects
  • Strong in stakeholder management and client interaction
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Adobe CC (Premiere Pro and After Effects)
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken; Dutch is a plus
  • You are independent, entrepreneurial, and active
  • You work in a structured manner and adhere to deadlines
  • Affinity with crypto

What will you get?

  • €2,600 - €3,600 gross per month based on a 40-hour workweek (depending on knowledge and experience)
  •  24 hour workweek (Freelance possible) with the possibility of full-time employment

Vacancy

As a Videographer/Creative Producer, you will strengthen our content team. You think in visuals and aren't afraid to experiment with creativity, challenging both internal and external clients with innovative ideas. You are capable of handling projects from pre-production to post-production, whether they are big or small, recurring or unique, both independently and as part of a team. You will be in close contact with your colleagues to translate the marketing team's needs into concrete video content.

Our content team is rapidly growing, not only in the number of projects but also in our in-house expertise. There is plenty of room for growth, initiative, and creative ideas, allowing you to further develop your role. You will also be part of a growing team where you have the opportunity to expand our services and offerings.

Your main role involves editing the founder's podcast for YouTube. This includes creating short, educational videos based on material from the Content Manager or directly from one of the founders, Michaël van de Poppe. You will also ensure that the weekly podcast is divided into shorter segments suitable for upload on social media platforms. It is essential that you have an affinity with crypto, given the nature of the content.

In this role, you will be part of the content team in Amsterdam. The team consists of specialists in marketing, concepting, social media, online advertising, design, and video.

On an enjoyable workday, you'll edit interesting content, design visual elements, and collaborate with the team to find creative solutions. It's satisfying to produce high-quality material and contribute to the success of the content strategy.

On a less enjoyable workday, you'll encounter technical issues while editing content and realize there's little time left for a solution, as the deadline is approaching.

Firsthand experience

The editing and uploading process of content isn't smooth due to a lack of clear workflow and poorly organized material. This leads to problems and delays. What do you do?

You'll start by setting up a streamlined workflow and an improved content management system. This involves creating a central hub where team members can upload their content and indicate deadlines. Clear guidelines are also established for submitting material and the editing process, which enhances communication and collaboration. This way, you can edit, plan, and publish content more efficiently, resulting in higher productivity and better quality output.
